Searching for Homes on HomesDatabase.com

1. Go to website: www.HomesDatabase.com/HankPrensky.
2. From menu on left side of screen, under Property Tools click on Homes Prospector. This will bring you to the Login Page.
3. If you are a first-time user, click on the Register button. If you are already registered (or Hank has already registered you), enter your e-mail address and password (if Hank has registered you, your password is hank), then click on Go and skip to 11.
4. To Register, enter information in required fields: Name, E-mail, Password, and Verify Password. You may want to click on Remember my Login if you are at your home computer, to make future uses easier. Then click the Activate button.
5. On the next screen, click the State in which you are searching. If you are searching in more than one State, or more than one Area (County), you will need to establish a separate search for each State or each Area (County).
6. On the next screen (entitled Step #2), choose an Area (County) from the drop-down list.
7. On the next screen, the default will be searches for Residential properties. If you are looking for another type of property (i.e. Multi-Family), click on that tab. Select the area you want to search by Zip Code or Area. Multiple zip codes are allowed, simply by holding down the Control key (Windows) or Command (Mac OS) and clicking on the additional desired zip codes.
8. On the same page, select a minimum and/or maximum price as well as a desired number of bedrooms and baths. Note: Half baths are not counted the same as a full bathroom under this system-only select the number of full baths you require. If you can live with 1 ½ baths, do not choose "2 or more" as that will ignore homes with 1 ½ baths and only return ones with 2 full baths. Below is an Advanced Search area. If you have more specific requirements, choose them at here, but for the most inclusive and most simple search, use the top section only.
9. If you want to look at the homes that meet your criteria and not save your preferences, simply click Search. If you would like to save this search with your preferences, however, as well as receive an e-mail whenever any home that meets your preferences is posted to the Multiple Listing Service, click Search and Save.
10. See your homes!!!
11. Once you've registered, you can search any time by going to the Login Page, entering your E-mail address and Password and clicking Go. Your saved searches will appear on the following page. You can then see new listings that have been posted since you last logged on, review all of the listings, or delete your searches. To change your requirements, you must create a new search and delete the old one. You can have multiple searches, but you cannot edit existing ones.
